How far in advance should I book my Zurich magic show?
For magic shows in Zürich, we recommend booking at least two to three weeks before your event to secure your preferred magician and time slot. As our busiest city, Zürich sees strong demand for weekend entertainment year-round, and summer dates from May through September are the most popular, so three to four weeks of advance planning is ideal during peak season. Our magicians perform fully interactive shows filled with comedy, audience participation, and jaw-dropping tricks that keep children captivated from beginning to end. They travel to every Zürich neighbourhood and adapt to any venue, indoors or outdoors. Book your date online in just a few minutes, or send us a WhatsApp message for personalised advice.
How long is the magic show and will it keep young kids engaged?
Our magic show runs for 40 minutes of interactive, high-energy magic, and we recommend it for children aged 4 and up. Our Zurich magicians are pros at reading the room and adapting the show to the age group in front of them — younger audiences get simpler tricks with more group involvement, laughter and volunteering, while older kids (7+) get more advanced magic and audience participation. The show is designed to hold attention from start to finish regardless of age, as long as the kids are over 4.
Can the magician match my party theme?
Yes — if your party has a theme like Harry Potter, wizard school, fairy magic or something similar, let us know when booking and our magician will adapt the show to tie in with it. They won’t arrive in a full costume though — our magicians perform as magicians, not as characters. If you want a specific character like Elsa, Spider-Man or a wizard in full costume, that’s our Party Characters service and we’d be happy to pair the two together. For themed shows in Zurich, a bit more notice is always helpful so we can match you with the right magician for the vibe.
How much space do we need and what do you need us to provide?
We bring everything ourselves — props, tricks, table, portable backdrop, and the PA system (for the Stage Magic Show). All we need from you is an indoor space with comfortable seating arranged in a semi-circle so every child has a clear view of the magician. A cleared living room, dining area or hall works great. Roughly 3 metres by 3 metres of performing space is plenty. No setup work required on your end — just point us to the space and we’ll handle the rest.
What ages is the magic show suitable for?
Our magic show in Zurich is designed for kids aged 4 and up, and honestly works brilliantly through to age 12 — and the adults in the room tend to love it just as much. For mixed-age parties (kids and parents watching together), the show naturally pitches up or down depending on the audience. For toddlers under 4, we’d recommend Walkabout Magic instead — close-up magic performed to small groups keeps little ones engaged better than a sit-down show. For teen or adult parties, Walkabout Magic is the right call too.
Will I know who my magician is before the party?
Yes — once your booking is confirmed, we’ll let you know which magician is assigned to your party. All our Zurich magicians are professionally trained, fully bonded, insured and have performed hundreds of kids’ birthdays. If you’d like to see examples of their work before booking, just ask and we’ll send through clips or photos. Every magician on our roster has been through our internal training before their first show.
Can I combine the magic show with balloon art, face painting or other services?
Absolutely — it’s one of our most popular setups and genuinely the best way to keep a party flowing. A common running order is balloon art or face painting as kids arrive (so nobody missed out if they’re running late), then the magic show as the main event, then cake and food.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 7 days ahead of your party get a 95% refund (5% goes to cover processing fees). If you cancel less than 24 hours before your event, you’ll get 50% back. Rescheduling is always free with more than 72 hours’ notice — we know life with kids is unpredictable, especially when someone comes down with a bug the day before the party.
