How far in advance should I book a balloon artist in Enge?
For balloon art in Enge, booking at least two to three weeks in advance ensures you get the performer and time you want. Weekend demand across central Zürich is consistently strong, and the summer months from May to September are the busiest, so three to four weeks of lead time is recommended for peak-season celebrations. Our balloon artists sculpt everything from intricate animals to wearable swords and crowns that children love showing off. They bring all materials and adapt to any Enge setting, from a courtyard gathering to a party in the Arboretum parkland. Head to our website to book your date in minutes, or drop us a WhatsApp message with any questions first.
How many balloon creations can one artist make per hour?
Our Enge balloon artists can create around 12–15 creations per hour, depending on how complex the designs are. Simple swords, hearts and flowers go quicker; elaborate characters, animal hats and princess crowns take a bit longer. Our minimum booking is 1 hour at CHF 195 — whether you’ve got 3 kids or 12, that’s our standard call-out rate. For parties with more than 12 kids, we recommend booking 1.5 hours, or adding 30 minutes for every additional 6 children. Not sure? Send us a quick message with your guest count and we’ll tell you exactly what you need.
Are the balloons safe for children?
Yes. We only use 100% natural latex balloons. If anyone at the party has a latex allergy, let us know at the time of booking and we’ll bring a latex-free setup instead.
What do I need to provide at the venue?
Just a little bit of space, ideally indoors or on a patio — that’s it. Our artists bring pumps, balloons, design menus and everything else needed. The one thing to avoid is setting up on grass or in direct sun: grass pops latex balloons almost instantly and hot sun makes them expand and burst. A shaded spot, driveway, hallway or front room works great.
What happens if my balloon artist can’t make it on the day?
It’s extremely rare — it’s happened only a handful of times in the five years we’ve been running parties in Enge. If illness or an emergency does come up, we’ll immediately pull in a replacement from our Enge team. If we genuinely can’t cover the booking with reasonable notice, you’ll get a full refund. Either way, you’ll hear from us straight away — we never go quiet on you.
Can the balloons match my party theme?
Yes, for most simpler themes. If your party is superhero, princess, jungle, unicorn, mermaid, dinosaur or similar, let us know when booking and our balloon artist will lean into the theme with matching colours and designs — a red-and-blue Spider-Man sword, a pink unicorn, a green dinosaur. For very specific character sculptures (like a full Spider-Man character), that’s beyond what most balloon artists can deliver in a party setting, but we can usually do something themed that captures the vibe. Tell us your theme at booking and we’ll let you know what works.
Can I combine balloon art with other entertainment?
Absolutely, and it’s one of our most popular setups. Our
Active Party package (CHF 325) pairs balloon art with face painting or party games, run by the same entertainer across a 90-minute slot. The
Complete Party (CHF 545) rolls all three into a single session. Having one person run everything keeps the party flowing and works out noticeably cheaper than booking each service separately.
What happens if a balloon pops during the party?
It happens — a kid squeezes too hard, someone steps on a sword, a balloon brushes against a rough wall. Our artists always bring extras, and as long as we’re still at the party, we’ll replace a popped balloon free of charge. That’s why we recommend setting up indoors on a smooth surface (not grass) — it keeps pops to a minimum and means every kid leaves with their creation.
What age is balloon art suitable for?
Balloon art is popular for kids aged 2 and up, and honestly works for any age party — we’ve had teenagers and adults queue up at weddings and brand events too. For toddlers under 2, we recommend larger bubble balloons or simple balloon animals rather than small pieces, just for safety. Our Enge artists are good at reading the room and adjusting designs to match the age group.
