What is Sand Art? It is a creative activity that involves removing stickers from an A5 postcard, and carefully pouring different coloured sand on to the exposed areas to create a colorful picture. This fun and artistic children craft requires concentration, hand to eye co-ordination and encourages creativity. Sand Art is the perfect craft to keep your little guests happy while encouraging creative play at your next event. Book one of our Sand Art stations at your next party and you can relax while the kids have a blast.
On the day of your booking, our entertainer will arrive 15 minutes prior to your party start time to set up the Sand Art Station. The Sand Art station needs 1.5m x 2m of space when setup for the kids to be able to access all the sections and move around the table easily. The setup has 12 small areas that each contain a different colour of sand. The children move around the table to use the different colour stations while creating their Sand Art Masterpieces.
The activity will take each child around 15 - 20 minutes to complete, and our Sand Art station can accommodate 5 - 7 children at a time. When finished each child gets to take their Sand Art card home with them as a perfect thank you gift for attending the event. *We recommend Sand Art as an activity for children aged 5 and older. For children younger then 5 the removing of the stickers can be difficult.
